Today we want to present you the results of a six-week application test of our scalp oil. To achieve this, 50 members of the Farbenhaut online community tested our product. The natural scalp oil: what's in it and how does it work?

The product test of the natural scalp oil
50 testers with various forms of scalp psoriasis took part in the six-week test of the natural scalp oil.
Most of those affected had the most common form of psoriasis, psoriasis vulgaris (61.9%). Another 19% suffered from psoriatic arthritis and smaller proportions of 4.8% had guttate psoriasis or pustular psoriasis. 2.4% of participants showed symptoms of psoriasis inversa. In addition, 19% stated that they suffered from neurodermatitis or severely dry skin.
The testers were most bothered by the flaking of their skin (88.1%), followed by itching (76.2%) and the formation of plaques and hardenings (61.9%). Just under half of the testers (47.6%) struggled with skin redness, while pain was a problem for 28.6%.
Applying the scalp oil for the test
The testers applied the oil to the affected areas of skin two to three times a week and left it on overnight . After the test period of six weeks, the effects were documented in questionnaires.
The results of the product test
70% of those affected reported that their scalp felt pleasant or very pleasant after use. According to their statements, the symptoms of psoriasis have also improved significantly:
- Dandruff improved by over 80%
- The itching decreased in over 75% of the participants
- Skin redness also improved in 55%
- The burden of scalp psoriasis was reduced by an average of 29.4%.
